The Avani Central Busan Hotel is Minor Hotel Group’s only Avani branded hotel in South Korea. Located in Busan, South Korea’s second most populous city. The business hotel features 281 hotel rooms and suites located on floors 19 to 35 of The Parq Building, and caters mainly to business travelers. All the hotel rooms and hotel suites offer wonderful views with plenty of natural light for the best interior lighting. Minor Hotel Group manages and operates 530 hotels and resorts worldwide, with 8 luxury hotel brands in their portfolio.
Hotel Photography Overview
We were commissioned to provide the interior photography and hotel room photography for this hotel in South Korea, the hotel had only recently opened. With an in-depth knowledge of hotel strategies to attract customers, the hotel industry and the guest experience, we had some we brought with us, some very well thought out hotel photoshoot ideas.
All the hotel rooms had unobstructed natural sunlight pouring in, which helps interior photographer a lot to get the best hotel photos that we can.
This, with our renowned customer service and attention to detail helped us create the best hotel room photos for the hotel marketing campaigns.

Hotel Photoshoot and Challenges
Over the course of the 4-day hotel photoshoot we captured a total of 58 eye catching luxury hotel images. From the different luxury hotel room categories, food and beverage outlets, lobby and public spaces, meeting rooms, as well as the exterior and surrounding areas.
This intensive hotel photoshoot calls for a professional photographer with vast experience in interior photography, architectural photography, drone photography, and food photography.
We are firm believers in that hotel or hospitality photography is not only interior photography, but a combination of:

What is my biggest take-way from this shoot?
Since I flew in from Cambodia and we don’t have a need for warmer clothes in Cambodia, South Korea can be a little chilly in January. Standing outside at dawn in a shirt with no jacket or sweater can be a little uncomfortable.
So, it is that not only make sure you have all the gear required for the best photoshoot but also the clothing to keep you comfortable while shooting, It was not pleasant walking out in the freezing temperatures in only jeans and a long-sleeved shirt to captured some aerial photos of the hotel exterior against the mountains under the beautiful dawn light. However, it was worth it as the sunrise was beautiful and we got some eye catching drone photos for our client.
