Frasers Hospitality is a Singapore based hospitality company that owns and/or operates over 150 properties worldwide under various hospitality brands. The hospitality group’s first property in Cambodia is Capri By Fraser Phnom Penh with 68 hotel rooms and serviced apartments.
The Capri By Fraser Phnom Penh was the Lumiere Hotel Phnom Penh before being refurbished and rebranded. I did the first hotel interiors photoshoot of the Lumiere Hotel Phnom Penh when it first opened in 2017. The building and original hotel design was undertaken by re : edge architecture and design. White, the new interior of Capri By Fraser by Phnom Penh was designed by Create Architecture in Singapore
Interior Photography Overview
Since we have already created hospitality photography for the previous Lumiere Hotel, we need to be creative in our hotel photoshoot ideas for this updated hotel photoshoot. This time around we need to create eye-catching luxury hotel room photos, professional hotel photography of food and beverage outlets, as well as reshoot the exterior under different lighting conditions.

Shooting and Challenges
Since we had to capture the hospitality images during normal hotel business hours and operation it called for great flexibility on our part, which we are well known for. Caprilicious All-Day Dining Restaurant and lobby area, needed to be shot during normal hotel guest traffic which called for a bit of creativity in the compositions and post-production techniques.
We are highly-experienced in shooting for luxury hotel brands so knew exactly what was required for the final hotel photos.
The beautifully designed whiskey and Cigar Bar was a bit more challenging due to the dark wood interior and the space needed to be shot during the evening to convey the correct mood.
Since drones are not permitted in this areas and the exterior space is a little constrained there is really only one angle to photography the complete hotel exterior with the logos. It is quite interesting to come back and photograph the same angle at different times of the day and under different lighting conditions.
