Hospitality Photography Overview

Our renowned Phnom Penh photographer Bruce Vincentiis conducted the first phase of the luxury hotel interior photoshoot in March 2024. The first set of hotel room photos were to highlight the exceptional service and attention to detail by the hotel housekeeping team and taken in the famous Jackie Kennedy Personality Suite. The second set of hotel room photos were to highlight the warm afternoon light streaming into the State Rooms and their peaceful views over the lush gardens and swimming pools.

Shooting and Challenges

The luxury lifestyle hotel photos capture by our Phnom Penh photographer in the Personality Suites as the Jackie Kennedy suite has generous amounts of soft natural light streaming through the large windows, This is some of the best natural light for interior photography. And, of course, the housekeeping staff, were very skilled and professional, as well as natural models.

The hotel room pictures captured by our Phnom Penh photographer in the State Room were to showcase the unobstructed views over the swimming pools, as well as to show the hotel room when hotel guests are normally in the rooms – in the evening. We need to capture the mood and feel of the interior lighting as the exterior lighting of the swimming pools and pool bar. These types of hotel room images are more difficult for the hotel photographer, but we are recommending evening/twilight hotel room photos more to our clients as they capture the mood of when a guests is most likely in the hotel room.

I think hotel photography and hotel photographers in general get stuck in a rut and stagnate. We need to be constantly trying new techniques and being more creative in our photo creation and giving our hotel clients greater value and return on the hotel photos.
